Habanos SA has now announced that there will be no “Festival del Habano” in 2022 either. The reason for the cancellation is the global corona pandemic. This is the second time the festival has been canceled. Traditionally, around 2,000 cigar lovers from all over the world came together at this event to celebrate Cuban cigars, which are made entirely by hand, for a week in Havana. The “Festival del Habano” is not only the largest, but also the oldest cigar event of its kind. It took place for the first time in 1999.

As an alternative, a virtual event was announced, which took place for the first time last year under the title “Habanos World Days” and in which around 9,000 aficionadas and aficionados from all over the world took part. Habanos SA will also use this opportunity to present the most important new Habanos products.

More information will follow shortly at: www.habanos.com .
