Quintero is one of the few brands that was not created in Cuba's capital Havana. Its inventor, Agustín Quintero, instead set up shop with his four brothers in Cienfuegos , a city on the southern coast of Cuba known as the “Pearl of the South”. Then as now, all the filler leaves selected for the Quintero came from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta tobacco growing zones . All Quinteros are made totallymente a mano, tripa corta . They are short fillers made entirely by hand.
