A cigar made from leaves of various origins. The filler comes from the Dominican Republic and Mexico , while the banda, i.e. the binder, comes from Connecticut in North America. What's interesting is that the cover sheet is a Sumatra from Ecuador. Only the darkest Maduro leaves survived the selection. This gives this cigar an extraordinary character. It is made in Santiago de los Caballeros and the price is spectacularly low. The cigar ring is nice to look at, the cigars are cellophane wrapped one by one and are available in bundles of 10 as well as individually and four different vitolas on the market.
This series was originally known as Dos Gonzalez . From 2015 it was gradually renamed Don Tomas . It is the same blend as Dos Gonzalez , only the name is different.
