The Guantanamera brand became world famous after the famous song by Cuban Joseito Fernandez. On September 14, 2002, the brand, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, was presented to the world public for the first time at the InterTabac in Dortmund . Today Guantanamera is still one of the best-selling Cuban cigars in Germany .
All cigars and cigarillos from this brand are made in Cuba from 100% tobacco from the Vuelta Arriba region - one of the most important tobacco-growing regions in Cuba. The light, finely aromatic taste is also characteristic
the excellent price-performance ratio. Min Ron Nee writes about the Cristales in his encyclopedia of post-revolutionary Havana cigars: " This cigar has historical significance for me because I believe that it is the first Cuban cigar to be packaged in a plastic tube" .
For its 20th birthday, Internacional Cubana de Tabacos (ICT) is presenting – again at InterTabac – a limited edition of the successful Guantanamera Cristales. Each cigar is provided with a special 20 Aniversario ring. And with a retail price of €2.40 per cigar, this edition remains affordable.
